Gabriel is a quiet, shy young boy who lived most of his life hiding his "terrible" secret. Gabriel is a pure wolf, just like his lover Keith but nobody ever talk to him about that. Indeed his parents kept hidden from him the fact that he was adopted. He never knew the truth, not even when he left his home after his older brother had walked in on him while he was feeding. Gabriel was 19 years old when he left his family and had to do odds jobs to survive, as his studies weren't over when it happened. He realized rather young that he was different, but for a long time couldn't figure out why, even through his instincts did tell him something was wrong. He found part of his answers with his first kill. Of a more gentle nature, Gabriel prefers lurring his preys to him and killing them painlessly, rather than doing it the messy way. Despite his wolf nature, Gabriel is also a rather artistic boy, enjoying music and other "human" things. He met Keith in a bar, as both were looking for preys. The wolves in them recognized each other and they became mates after this first night. In their relationship, Gabriel is the submissive partner.

Keith, like Gabriel, didn't know his family but for a different reason. As far as he remember Keith had lived on the streets, fighting against the gangs to survive and grew up by himself in the streets of New Orleans. Unlike Gabriel he quickly found out about his true nature and the wolf in him kept him alive, until he was caught by the police and putted in an orphanage. There he received a basic education, before he was left to himself once again when he turned 18. There, Keith decided to used his unhuman strenght to his advantage and found a job as a bouncer. Being totally in tune with himself and his wolf side, Keith enjoyed the hunting, the bloodlust and thrill that come with feeding. He is also of a more unpredictable and aggressive nature, due to the wolf in his blood. He is also very possessive. Keith, like Gabriel, never met another wolf in his life until he stumbled upon his futur lover in that bar. None of them had ever saw another wolf until that day, and it was instant attraction between them. Since then Keith had assert his claim over the younger wolf and is taking care of the both of them.
